A few days missed — life happened.
Two things worth noting from the gap. First, I’ve gotten meaningful work done on the research paper. That matters in two ways: it reassured me I hadn’t forgotten how to write academically, and it means the task is actually getting done. Both were necessary reminders.
Second, yesterday the children gave their mother a wonderful Mother’s Day — their time, and food from a new Guatemalan restaurant. Wonderful memories and pictures all around. The Lord is good.
Tomorrow: back to the paper.
